Location: Hayward, WI | So far Gander Mountain rods. I like the looks of St. Croix rods, and I like the St. Croix I use for jigging for walleyes, but right now I'd rather have two rods for different applications than one St. Croix.

| Still using 3, 8'6" All Star Big Game rods and one 8 footer...the 8'6" can handle a pounder allll day...
I have a 9' footer from Keith in the DB blank and one more on order...

| Professional Edge rods on any type of blank are my new favorite! Keith just built me a 9'3" on a St. Croix Legend Tournament Blank, I can't wait to use that thing this summer! |

| I have several different rods that I like for speciific applications. I have used Shimano rods for years, and I am very satisfied. I have 2 St.Croixs that also work very well. This spring I bought a Gander Mountain Musky Tournament Series in a 7'6". This rod is VERY impressive. They use an IM8 blank with a Fuji real seat and Fuji guides. I tried it out today for the first time, and it fishes as well as the St.Croix. The only differences I can see, is that the Gander Mountain rod is lighter than my 7'6" St.Croix and it is over $60 cheaper. |

Location: minocqua, wi. | decided to "treat" myself to a lightweight high-quality rod ... watched this and spoke to some of the guys grinding a ton of time with them and came down to the diamondback having Keith at Professional Edge make it. for the money and the quality and the fact it's a one-piece i'll get custom quality for less than i would have spent on the stock st. croix ... even though it's more than i've spent before, i think i'm getting the best quality/value buy with bonafide back-up from people i respect ... looking forward to moving into a high-quality lightweight long stick this year! |

Sled, you're going to love that stick. Can't find a much nicer guy to work with than Keith either. He makes sure you are getting exactly what you want |
