Posts: 101 Location: Northern Illinois | I caught a 5 1/2 lb walleye on a green Suick in 3 ft of water in heavy weeds. A friend caught a large crappie on a bucktail, and it wasn't a small bucktail either. Edited by Renaldo 3/16/2007 7:27 PM

Posts: 619 Location: Verona, WI | I can't tell you how many rock bass I have caught musky fishing on bucktails when they are spawning. Aggressive little things. I've caught my biggest walleye, largemouth, and smallmouth while musky fishing as well. I also snagged a 68" sturgeon trolling once. That was a lot of fun. Thought I had the WR. Posts: 2323 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Last fall, I managed to hook a sucker that was obviously a wild sucker from the lake I was fishing on the actual sucker rig I was using. Had my sucker that I bought hooked and then I had this other sucker that some how hooked itself perfectly through the mouth like it was trying to share the hook with the bought sucker. Quite an ordeal, don't have a clue how it happened.

Posts: 3867 | Threw a bucktail toward a swirl I caught out of the corner of my eye, and like Tiger above, snagged a BIG snapping turtle in the rear leg. At first I thought I hooked a monster muskie, man he was tough to get to the boat.

Posts: 170 Location: Valparaiso , Indiana | I once caught a 55 inch gar on a glide bait! I thought I had a big musky until it started jumping out of the water like a Tarpon. My brother once snagged a 8 foot Sturgeon! This thing dragged our boat around for 45 minutes before we even seen it! If you look at the pics below that's a mag bulldawg and a 20 in. sucker hanging off the side of it's head! That will give you a pretty good idea of just how big this fish was!
