Looks more like a the video of the Loch ness Monster but it is the best I have until ice out.

Top lure is a 9 inch Grandma and the bottom of course is a 16 inch Grunt. Wobble wobble!

Here it is:
(With DSL it takes about 30 seconds to load)

James,

I may have joined your sister in the ranks of the morons! I can't get it to work on my computer either. What is the video played with? Quicktime, etc.?

Actually as you can see the bigger Pike never ate it. What this video clearly shows is the maternal instinct all animals possess. This is a caring mother Pike carrying it's offspring to a new nesting site much like a cat does her kittens. You can also see she's not about to place her offspring in the new nest site until that pesty Navy Seal guy leaves. Also, I would like to point out to you lesser informed on the parental matters of fish. Is that the seemingly violent jerks of the mothers head as if to rip flesh or snap a spine is in fact really gentle sweeps to keep oxygenated water flowing across it's childs gills.

Here is teh YouTube URL:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkVdEDNx0e4

I see in YouTube you can insert Code into a website. I will try that so my video is viewable on my website.

James

PS-As you can see in my video, the Grunt is trying to show the 9 inch Grandma how to swing wide to attract the elusive muskie...

So now I can ask the question:

What does everyone think of the wobble?

One thing I thouhgt of, muskies have not seen anything like this and that is one of the keys in heavy fished muskie waters... Just a thought.

Thanks,
James

It might work better if you embed the movie. Look at the right conor and there is a box with the codes for a URL and the code for embed.

Zoom - | Zoom 100% | Zoom + | Expand / Contract | Open New window
Click to expand / contract the width of this image

Thanks guys. It is hard to sell these baits since most have not seen them in action. I know I would not be quick to buy a bait if I had not seen it. I know Aaron of http://www.muskytackleonline.com has had similar comments on my baits he sells on his website. I have had the video for a while but Snax got me reinterested in getting it on my website. Now I just need to get better footage of the lure once we get to ice out or I get into a pool.

I think the cool aspect of the Grunts action is the wander it has.

Mike,

Did you ever get a chance too take a look at the Grunt in your scuba gear? Didn't know if you guys made it that far last year or not.

Nope I never got to run it last year. It's on the table for this year.

It's looking more than likely that the 2nd edition will be a go sometime in late spring.

2nd Edition out! Thats great Mike! I hope you guys found a good deal for publishing. I know the pain of minimums ownign two small businesses. Takes a while to find those companies that want to deal with small runs. I just fourn a label company that makes awsome labels with no minimums! From food, lures, to cosmetics.
James

PS-Still working on that #*^@ video! For some reason it keeps getting turned off in YouTube. I am re-loading it now. SHould be up again under: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKuq5dKNFwE

In my opinon, nice video, but no wobble to the bait.....where is the thump? Lateral lines of the musky pick up on that vibration, especially in stained water and with that bait there is glide but not much wobble....

I do have a few with magnum rattles in the tail. None for sale yet. I may add the rattles to a few for fun to increase the noise.
Thanks for the post,
