I was out on Cave Run today in a all out thunderstorm... What was I thinking!!

The air temp was 48* and the water temp in Buck creek was 44.5* and in Scotts
creek the water temp was 46.5* The water is about 5-6ft low and has exposed alot
of the weeds(milfoil)

Moved only 1 fish in 7ft of water back up in Little Cave on an orange Reef Hog, I'll be
out again tomorrow for sure. Later,

Jerome

The best time to fish the Cave is: "when you can get there!" Who knows, just fish it.

How was yesterday, Jerome? m

The Cave was WINDY!!

The bilge pump was kicking on every 15min. while out on the mid lake,(trolled for about an hr)
I got out of the wind (a little bit) in Scotts creek for about 3 hrs. and didn't see anything

Fished a little deeper(8-12ft) because of the cold front Air temp: 38* Water temp:43-45*

Mikie, I'll be back in 2 weeks maybe we could hook up again. Later,

Jerome

Hey, you guys come up with a set of dates and I'll get us booked at Tony's Frenchburg Hilton.
I was looking at the last weekend of March, but spring could come a lot sooner. I hear there are already muskies being taken on rattletraps using a proprietary technique.

Dang, I'm gonna have to come up with come Grumpy Tonic, cuz the last time I had Raze and Sponge in me boat, my sides hurt from laughing for two days.

Mauser's always an 'if' until the last minute, since his mom's health went bad, but if we build it he will prolly come.

March 16th, 17th and 18th

Perhaps some consideration will be given to the aforementioned geographical area then Jedi Razetoid! What amazes me is the avatar Wizard has never dropped the tossed feesh...after hours of constant observation, the perpetual motion remains the same...much like a Peruvian she-crab scuttling across a flat beach in search of a bit of discarded bait, should there be one to be had...WHOOPEE!!! Fries are up...

Sponger,
I watched that wizard toss that fish for two and a half days. Never missed a lick, must be Gandalf. I saw him in another establishment tossing a salad once. Another tossing a pizza crust.

In these days of uncertainty Stever, many things appear as a toss up...the fish mentioned was oringinally pointing to our right; musta zipped to our left during a yawn or blink...at any rate...

Ah, I can sense a new MuskieFirst video contest in the making: fish tossing. Kinda like dwarf tossing only we'll prolly use carp. Points for distance, accuracy, and technique. Third place gets two days in the boat with mikie, second place one day with mikie, and first place: you can boat with someone who actually catches fish!

Let me have things settle a bit here at the homefront and get my boat repair done, then we'll work up a Stonewall Jackson trip for mid-March or early April.

Now, back to our program. Tossing the 5 pound carp is........
