Guts... try burnin' a spinnerbait next year too. I know where you can get some good one's (heh heh).

I plan to experiment with some of the Salmo lures next year. I'm just not a wood fan anymore.....

Another 25 or so bulldawgs, some more gliders, and a weagle or two

Seriously?

If I buy 10 lures at the shows I will be surprised.

I still haven't used the ones I bought last year, or the year before that...

I have no idea. I know shack attack might be coming out with a giant sub-zero, just have to see what is out there that is new. Right now i would be interested in looking at bigger baits that suspend like the DDD.

I have only one bait on my wish list so far for the off-season . . . by far my lowest total yet. 8-inch Slammer minnowbait. I may pick up a couple more D-Raiders and a banana bait, just in case the old-standbys go bye-bye.

the NEW 6 inch squirly tail phantom,,looks great for coldfronts

Lee Tauchen said he might have a limited run of creepers

Dennis said they may have a 2-2 1/2 pounder bulldawg but I dont know if he was "messin' with me;

maybe a vol 3 "just big muskies' DVD if its out in time, those guys had a incredible average of 49.5 inches for a many multiple fish couple weeks this year.

I plan on selling baits that I don't use now and tinker with some homemade contraptions instead of buying new stuff.

Happy Hooker... it's true. I know they are working on it but not sure if it's done....

By the way... I sent you a PM a few days ago. Check it out.

None, I'll just continue using what I have, and add all of the "seconds" to my box.
I'll be hauling around a box full of 10"ers this year.

I've got to get all set with some hard plastic baits (Sledges, Dunwright Dancer, Hellhound, DDD and DD, etc.) before I spend anymore on wood baits. Although, if I found the right deal......

K-BOB

I had a chance to fish with the 12" Dunwright Lifelike bait late this season, all I can say is the bait is even more awesome in person. Twitching, slow crankin', stop-n-go, all worked great. Can't wait to fish this bait over green cabbage next season.

Jim,
Do you know what patterns they are coming in? I saw the pike and the lizard in the video. Did you catch anything on them when you used them?

A few more G Logs and broken Logs, some heavier GP Thumper spinnerbaits for trolling, and a few more clevised double colorado bladed GP Thumper spinnerbaits similar to the one I designed for Greg this fall will top the list. Plan to hone in on my favorite trolling lures, particularily a few more musky magnets. Should get a few more big rubber bodied spinners with double blades made, similar to my old standbys with the single #10 blade in the current lineup. Will be picking up a few rylure 650 wobblers and husky tapdancers. Plan to modify a few of Jakes for neutral buoyancy. Will sell more lures this winter than I buy though....hopefully.

I plan on getting into some of these current and new big double bladed bucktails. Need to get my 10-12 inch bucktail selection filled out in my box. The #5 Mepps muskie killers look small to me anymore

K-Bob,

I got a 12" Lifelike Pike in perch color. I received it late in the season, just before ice up. I threw it a total of about six hours, I caught one 38" er on it and had two other follows. It's important to note that during this time the only other thing catching any fish for us were live suckers. Another fisherman I've talked to got a 44"er on it about the same time. I really wish I had it for the whole season, I'm sure It would have caught lots of fish. I love how it hangs suspended in between twitches.
The colors that will be made available in are going to be numerous.

Have a Happy Holiday Season, Jim.

I just ordered my St.Croix Legend Tourny stick, the 8'.

I'm going to buy an 8" Recon or two, a creeper of some sort and a couple more safety pin spinners, probably Grinders, Sloppys and Grim Reapers.

I'm not the bait freak I use to be... I will probably buy 1 of that new Rumbler Topwater bait...one of those Ry Lure hawg wobbler dealio's Reef Hawg keeps telling me about... some more shallow dawgs, maybe another pounder or 2....those bad boys aren't that bad to toss all day....maybe another 9" grandma or 2...
More big doubles from Gerry in MKE for sure...
