180 days to muskie fish, 9 days to gun hunt in WI. Gotta go for the rifle on this one.

Few pics from Montana this week. Heading to WI to hunt with my Dad and brothers for deer season. Hate to leave big sky country right now.

I'll be in the woods in Plover, WI. Muskies will have to wait a weekend as family traditions prevail.

Sloan, love the pictures......around WI we brag about that size of a deer (whitetails) and let the head hang out, in Montana I guess you just "pile it in"! Good stuff!

Whatever.........I need to shoot something after putting up with bnelson all season. Hangover or not, the results were the same.

I think it's safe to say Dan and I are both high maintenance in our own ways Bette...maybe that is why we catch so many #*^@ fish together....

Hunt FOR Fish. HeHeHe

I'll be hunting for a Packer victory over the Patriots on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Favre's got Brady in his sights.

Kevin

I caught one Saturday and I'm still excited.

Why not both? Float a little remote pothole surrounded by state-owned land, fish and hunt at the same time!

Well it is another 2 weeks, 4 days till our gun season opens here in Iowa (maybe this will be the year I put my first buck on the ground), but pheasant is open so that will be hit up this weekend pretty hard...

I don't have private land to hunt and gun season in the county forests has gotten a bit crazy for my liking.

I'm going to hunt, but more than likely not for deer. Here's a few from this past weekend.

I used to be obsessed with Deer hunting many weeks before the actual season. All that is gone now as Deer hunting is a means to fill the freezer as oppose to a trophy hunt as I once perceived it. Thank the Muskellunge for that one. I hope to shoot a deer opening morning, then listen to Michigan & Ohio State while fishing for the rest of the day. BARELY TWO & HALF WEEKS LEFT OF THE SEASON IN WISCONSIN!!! SCARY!!!
