Posts: 313 Location: On your favorite spot | Mepps Maribou - one awesome weekend in September. Otherwise most of my fish this year were on different baits. Firetiger Suick a close second. Edited by Marc J 11/4/2006 8:26 PM

Posts: 199 Location: Sandusky, OH | Musky Magic Slidin' Shad, the 6" one in a show special color (kind of a neon bluegill to my eyes). All my fish (2) this year and most of my follows came on this bait. Thank goodness I picked this one up, or else my rookie year would have been far less eventful. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I threw this bait about half my time on the water. Funny how the bait I have the most confidence in is also the one I paid the most for (I have a very limited aresenel, but will spend the winter rectifying that!!).

Location: Athens, Ohio | Yeah, the Timberwolf. Best bait I worked this season, although one of Jonesi's big bucktails sure runs a very close second. Now, my Snowrest did get me my biggest fish; hmmm? m

Posts: 2753 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Well, being somewhat decidely bias'd toward lures from Sweden, I will say my 2 favorite lure(s) for 2006 are a Timberwolf glider (Nemo color pattern ) and a Howie Meyer Presque Isle rigged sucker. Shane makes one very sweet running glider, even my grandson X-man can work this lure. Having never fished for muskie's with suckers previously, I can honestly say I have been educated by a master muskie fisherman. Thanks Howie. Edited by ESOX Maniac 11/6/2006 3:15 AM
