What do you think of it?
I thought of making a spinnerbait that combines the weighted wood bodies I am known for plus a spinnerbait. The bonus is that the hooks are replacable as they are hung from split rings and not permenantly to the body.
Less leverage for a fish to throw the bait too.

hmmmm Very interesting! Never seen anything like this. What is your MSRP on that one? Nobody can say you copied it!!!

Nice Muky Snax! Let me know when you get that one on your website for sale. I have a buddy that I showed your website to an dhe is planning on buying a few. I will make sure I show him this one as well.

I just tried it out...looks really sweet, almost like one Walleye chasing another! There's a 6/0 treble hidden in the marabou as well as the 6/0 single hook .

Really big presence without being heavy, I love it. I'm going to be throwing this one over some cabbage beds where I saw a huge fish last time out.

It looks like a musky sized version of Strike King's Rocket Shad. Really cool!

How much are you selling them for?

I wasn't planning on putting these into production but I could always make up a few for those who ask.
I'd have to figure out a price though. Like everything I build, it takes time to do all the little details and that factors into the cost.

Well, I wasn't planning on building these for selling but there seems to be a lot of interest so I'm sourcing out all the components as we speak. Once I can get the parts organized I'll post the cost per bait here.
Please keep posting here in this thread if you are interested as it gives me an idea how many to build. Thanks all!

Mike, may need to add that to the order.......... maybe with a tandem on it instead of a aingle blade.

This one never did roll as fast I would ever want to reel one in. I'm sure if it got dragged fast enough it would roll over but I weight the wood body to keep it running perfectly during normal use.

I can make these in Shad, Cisco, Perch, Walleye and probably Sucker too if there's a demand. As I mentioned, I'm going to try to source out the components and see what they cost before I factor in my own carving and paint etc.

I'll do my best to keep the price affordable.

Musky Snax,

Please send me an email when you get an idea on what you want for one or two. I will pass it on to a few people and see what they think.

[email protected]

Again, very nice and unique bait you made! Good to see some original ideas can still come thorugh with all of the baits out there.

A car is a car...4 wheels and all. But it is the way you "pimp" it that makes the difference....

Really cool bait mr Snax....you really "pimped" it the right way!

Now that is something to take to Canada then! Get some nice muskies, pike, and walleyes! lol

Again, let me know when you get a few of these made. Going to pass that walleye pic off to a few others.

Thanks,
James

I had about 6 others either follow it or shoot out of weedbeds and miss it completely! The bait is insanely productive!
I've thrown a Grinder and a Slop Master in the same areas and only ever caught one pike. Very first day out with this new spinnerbait and it was unreal how many fish it had chasing it.

I was also testing out some of the Pro-Cure real baitfish scents as I am deciding whether to endorse and Pro Staff for them. I tested the Minnow, Garlic Minnow, Muskie/Pike and Gizzard Shad. My time on the water showed me that the Garlic minnow works well but Gizzard shad scent seems to drive the fish nuts! I had this one musky follow about 5 times and she kept nipping at the Shad glider I had on like it was testing it to see what it would do! It was actually pretty funny at the time!

O.K> Mike That's scary! I made a couple spinnerbaits last year that are very similar!! Great minds! I like yours more than mine though. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
