Good lord. what a pig.

nothing against the guys for keeping it, but when will these people learn to take a camera in the boat and photo the fish when it is alive?

even if you're keeping the fish, it just makes for a better picture

The fish looks so much better, as far as color and conidtion is concerned, in this photo here.

Hey...I work with a guy named Jeff Gardner......not the same Jeff Gardner obviously....

Nice fish.

The red color makes it look awful. Huge fish though. I did a B&W version.

Dimensions ?????? I'd guess just for fun --56x25 Great fish -- 1-2 pounds smaller than Gene Buroki's 57 pounder Photo'ed on my family's dock. That was in 1984, At one time it was #9 on one of the big fish list. Maybe this fish is a top 10 all time ? Love to hear the whole story of the catch. ManitouDan

Baldy
i was just about to say the same thing...but.
considering all the appearances of blood under the skin, the bloody fins and tail.....i'd be hard pressed not to say this fish is doomed anyway, im sure some of you would agree.

if it were one of us guys fishing for it...it would have shook the bait 20 feet from the boat and just be another big fish story..
but since someone caught it on 8 lb test....it's just another big dead fish story.

shame, but, as has been said b4...it's an anglers right by law to keep it.

beauty of a fish.....funny, cuz i didn't hear the BONK anytime recently...apparently they knew this wasn't a WR or we would have been hearing the "kill the WR --BONK--" as so many have been quoted saying recently.

from here to kentucky......

So when you get one big enough to put in the back of the pickup do you have to drive around town for three days with the tailgate down like you do with a monster buck????????

That fish redefines the word PIG for me.

Wowzers... Unbelievable fish for sure...

Thought the sign was kind of funny though... the one you can see in the photo where the guy is holding the fish vertical.. American Carp Adventures!! Here he thought he had the world record carp, but no... it was a musky...
