It seems that I'm already on the direct line with him already.
We will add her to our prayers.
We all need some nice steady non-eventful months strung together!

Best wishes, prayers, and some good mojo for a healthy recovery my friend.

Even at 42 years old, I am a total "Momma's Boy", I call my mom every morning just to say hello. She is a real rock in my life.

Hope things are better today for her situation.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has sent wishes and all those who will. I showed this to my family and they were simply amazed at all the friends I have that I have never even met. We greatly appreciate all the thoughts and prayers (and MOJO) that have been sent our way.

This was a terrible accident, but my mom is still with us and that is all that counts. She was wearing her helmet, she always does, so she escaped with no brain injuries. Her mind is as strong as ever and it always will be.

She had her spleen removed Saturday, and on Wednesday she will undergo surgery to repair her broken back. Nothing is for sure yet, but all indications are that she will not regain use of her legs. She has come to terms with that for now. She is the strongest woman I know, she's half my size and I'm scared of her, and if anyone can prove the docs wrong it's her. This woman will not give up.

Today was a pretty good day. The docs took out the breathing tube and Mom was able to talk to us all and tell us not to worry about her. Still putting herself first even from the bed. The sense of humor that we have all known and loved for years still shines through.

We have a long road ahead, but we are prepared for it. She's taken care of me my entire life. Now, it's my turn to be there for her.

For those interested, we have a started a website where we will be constantly updating on any progress she has made. Eventually she will updating it herself as well. The address is...

www.caringbridge.org/visit/debbiebreyer

Once again, on behalf of my entire family Thank You for all the well wishes.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. If she is half the individual you are, she will pull through. My thoughts and prayers are with her, yourself, and your family. This is the time to be with her, so if you need help with ( i.e. mowing the lawn/putting hooks on the baits for your new business) I will make myself available at a drop of a hat. I owe you, since you took the photo of the last elusive muskellunge that I landed.
