My Dad passed away at 2AM. He went peacefully and quietly.
He will be mised, but I know that he is in a much better place than he was for a long time.
I and my family wish to thank my muskiefirst family for all of their prayers and support over this last week.
Give your dad a hug, and tell him that you love him.
I'll do my harderst to get the lures that are ordered out in time for the opener. Right now 99% are done, I'm just waiting on checks. Megaturds just need to be assembled. So if you ordered lures, chances are I'm waiting on you. Then I think that I'll need some "away time".

Beav- God Bless your Dad as he makes this transistion. Also- God bless you and the family for being there for him! My dad also served during WWII - What an incredible sacrifice they made!

My Grandpa had a stroke when he was about 55, it definitely had an effect on his quallity of life, I''ll never forget his last WI deer hunting season with my dad & my brothers. Every drive/movement we did was planned to push a buck by Grandpa. He killed his last buck at age 77.

God Bless your Dad & the family!

Beav,
Your family will be in my family's prayers. I'm sure the circumstances may make it seem easier, but I'm equally as sure that it never really is. May your memories be fond and long-lasting.

I was that which others did not want to be.
I went where others feared to go, and did what others failed to do.
I asked nothing from those who gave nothing,
and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal loneliness
should I fail.
I have seen the face of terror, felt the stinging cold of fear,
and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moments love.
I have cried, pained and hoped,
but most of all, I have lived times some would say were best forgotten.
At least someday I will be able to say that I was
proud of what I was...

Beav,

God bless you and your family.

Five years ago my father, a tough Irishman, developed a cancer that could not be beaten. My mother, sisters, and I did what we could to make his life comfortable as he faded. As painful as it was to watch him go, I never stopped thinking of him as an Irish, poker playing, beer drinking, fiercely loyal, WWII vet you could count on. As I read your thoughts, and see the picture you posted, I'm sure, even after he's gone, you will always keep your father close to your heart, as I do mine.

Uhem, that god stuff, well, no. Enough of people being fooled.....

You get it direct, pure positve energy to help, from me to you.

Happens happens, think?; time is not real and nothing most of us consider important matters anyway.

Hang in there.

Beav-
Sorry to hear. Sounds to me like you're squared away and remember the good times, don't forget them.
Know that your family here, as well as mine, is here for your family there.
Prayers and a cast for your dad my friend.

My thoughts are with you Beav. My dad is getting up there as well and I take him in the boat whenever I can. I have been blessed with his presence for all these years and will be very sorrowful when he is gone. Keeping your dad and you in my heart man, thanking god that I have had a place on this Earth.

The hospice people took over today, and after the first exam, the lady in charge told us that we shouldn't expect him to make it through the night.
Thanks to all of you from my entire family.
They can't believe that a group of people that they don't know would rally to support us at out time of need.

Beav, if he was being cared-for by Hospice, he was in good hands until he reaches the hands of the Lord. m
