| I also am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have lost my Mom, and one of my sons; I feel your pain.
Be assured, the pain will eventually turn to an ache, and the ache to the good memories you will have forever. |

| I had lost my mother about 12 years ago. I always keep in my heart and mind that she is in a much better place...just like your father is now. He is now able to look down and be proud of his son.
Time is the ultimate healer. Steve Worall is right. The pain will subside and the good memories remain for you to relive time and again!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Steve

| Mauser,
I am very sorry to here that. The Father/Son relationship is like no other. I quit college in my early twenties to care for my Dad. He went blind, had a stroke, and passed away (from Congestive Heart Failure)as I was giving him CPR. All of this took place over a couple years and was caused by Diabetes. It is still the hardest thing I have had to go through. Seeing the man you idolized and looked up to as bulletproof, slowly deteriorate, is something I hope you didn't have to go through. Your Dad sounds like he was a hell of a guy. Celebrate the memories you have of hunting and fishing with him, and be proud that he passed that legacy on to you. A lot of kids never get to experience that. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

| Mauser you're in my prayers too.
Lost Grampa to cancer 2 years ago between Christmas and New Years. It was actually a relief in his case. To see what that stuff can do to a man isn't easy to take. He's in a better place now as is your dad. Sometimes what's hardest for us is best for them. Keep the memories and the special times alive in your thoughts.
I still miss the up north time and the laughs with you Grampa. I'm glad I had the time to tell you how I really felt. Thanks.
Again Mauser, my prayers are with you.
Scott
PS Maybe they are up there together sharing a beer and a shot, sitting around a campfire and laughing at us talking about them.

| I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll keep you in my thoughts and I hope that at the end of it all you will have a lot of fun and positive memories of your dad to cherish. That's a part of him inside of you that will never die! Remember that when things get a little too much for you. Have strength. |

| I sympathis with your loss. I lost my dad 4 years ago at the age of 44 and me being only 20 i had no idea what I was going to do. But every day I wake up and for some reason or another I find him in what I do. They say time heals all wounds, but time doesnt. All time does is make everything you did togehter that much more special. Once again sorry to hear about your Dad.
Peace to you and your family

| I offer my sympathy, fortuneatly I have never lost anyone that I was really close too. It is reassuring to know that when a sad day comes for all of us that are a lot of people out there who care. |

| Mauser, you have my condolences too. I hope you fish your heart out this year and catch plenty of muskies that would make your dad proud.[:halo:] |

|
| Mauser,
Sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you and your family. I am sure that your Dad was glad that you were also his best friend. Too many fathers and sons don't have that bond that was very apparent you and your Dad had. My Dad died 7 years ago and I still make a cast for him every time out on the water.
