| I was feeling bad yesterday morning and after been home from work for an hour I got this wicked pain in my lower back all of the sudden. It was so bad I called my wife at work to come home and take me to the emergency or I was calling an ambulance. Well after 8 hours in the emergency room and many tests there was nothing wrong with my kidneys. So du to the shortage of beds they send me home to sleep and come back this am for a CT scan. Well they found this small mass ( 1.5 inches ) in or around my liver or kidney. I now have to wait 1+ week or so for a biopsy to find out if it is malignent or not. :'(
The pain killers will have to do their job untill we get the results.

I have my hopes up as there's a 70 pounder out there with my name on it. ;-) And my 4 and 6 year old need me for many years to come. |

| Guys I went friday morning for the biopsy and the procedure itself didn't hurt much thanks to some local freezing but man was I sore this weekend and still hurt a bit today. Just imagine a doctor sticking a large knitting needle through your body not once but 4 different times.
The doc said it was a major biopsy and he got some good samples but would be a week before results are sent in to my doctor.
Maybe I will have some good news to announce the night of my chat this coming Thursday.[:sun:] |
