Who has interest in attending a LATE season MuskieFIRST outing in Northern Wisconsin? We're just at the thinking stage of the game right now, but here are some preliminary thoughts:

-4 day-er (Thursday - Sunday)
-LATE season, as in end of October, beginning of November
-Presque Isle or Boulder Junction area lodging
-BIG FAT FISH.

Just perusing for interest levels before making any calls to set this up.

i'll definitely be there.
we spent a long weekend at the Hideout in mid-November this year for the MatchFishing finals. temps down to 8 degrees at night, even boated some fish for our trouble.
it's NEVER too late...

Don't listen to that MuskyDr Jonesi character. He knows as well as the rest of us that there are no good musky waters in the Rhinelander area, he just does not want to drive that far.

I would be interested as long as the headquarters was up north of Rhinelander.

(would I be able to run back and fish the Rhinelander area? )

Right during the pre-rut.
All depends on whether or not I hunt or if I am successful before then.
Can't serve two masters.

I am game if it is planned in advance.

I am like Beav, it depends on the rut and if my buck has hit the freezer yet. Bow Hunting Rocks !!!

Sucker and Gliders work for me................Bring it on.

Norm W and Steve W will set us all up on big fish.

I'm in...can't make 4 days, but I'm in for a long weekend. That area is prime Slamr. I can even help out with some lodging for the folks who don't want to spend alot of money. I'm 20 minutes east of Presque Isle.

The weather turns very very "iffy" up there by mid to late October, I'd say the 3rd weekend would be a good one.

I'll probably be in Boulder Junction area on a trip regardless. Count me in! May be able to have some free loding as well near Boulder for 1 or 2 guys.
