Posts: 4266 | Gee, I have to say a Castor, and not just because I make them. Easy to work, and that slow fall with a shimmy during a pause is a great feature. HR Shakers are still my favorite big glider. Lambeau, I take it that is what you were looking for? Beav

Posts: 354 | In the past my favorites have been: Small phantoms Slammer Drop belly Musky Magic Slidin Shad Today I tested a bait in my backyard pond which I just got in a trade. Countdown Cobbs Roundnose. HOLY COW! I have heard of the HR and Cobbs for years but this is the first time I have actually seen the Cobbs in action. What an awesome belly roll even after the bait has stopped its swing. I'm not much of a Manta fan. Too uniform of a swing for my liking, but I know others have had much success. I also have ordered and am looking forward to fishing the new ERC Hellhound. Bill C.

Posts: 38 Location: Michigan | I like the undertaker and phanton but just recently picked up a couple of Hoosier Handmade Baits and I have to say they are without a doubt my favorite glider. They are simple to work, extremely versatile and well made, you can contact Hoosier Handmade Baits at [email protected]. And no I have nothing to do with the manufacturing or selling they are just #*^@ good. David Anderson

| My favorite glider is the Deadhead made by Widow Maker Lures in West Virginia. This lure will show fish when nothing else seems to work. Vipers come in second, with my first Lunge of the year and last lunge of the year in 2004 coming on these. I bought a Hellhound this winter and shore line testing sure shows how well this thing will work. We shall prove that theory out here shortly. Steve"The Muskie Junkie" Ruhmann | |||

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | The Slammer Drop Belly Glider (6") is my favorite, with the Undertaker (sinking model) a close second. The Drop Belly has been a conistant multi-species producer fo me, from opening day to ice-up. Edited by Steve Van Lieshout 4/6/2005 6:15 PM
