I saw this on another site and found it interesting to know where everyone puts their boat in. So where do you spend most of your time and what are the other bodies of water you fish in a year?

For me, my home water would have to be the Mani Chain in Vilas, go up there every weekend to the cabin. I also fish LOTW once during the summer, the Chip for a weekend and hit Eagle in the fall. I want to make it to Mille Lacs for a weekend this year.

Pelican Lake in Oneida County, WI, and several 250 to 600 acre lakes locally around Rhinelander. I fish Wabigoon and LOTW quite a bit, and several other smaller waters in NW Ontario, too.

My home water(s) are really two lakes: Evergreen and Shelbyville, both in IL.

My "home away from home" would be LOTW. Also gonna hit Mille Lacs for a few days this year (only went one day last year), Green River or Cave Run (whichever Gregg decides), and a small lake 11 miles away with some BI... we'll just say "tigers" in it.

Our cabin is on Leech Lake and we are there almost every weekend and a couple of full weeks each summer. Also make an annual trip to the Indian Lake Chain in Ont for a long weekend with our Wisconsin friends that gave us this addiction.

My home body of water is the temperamental Chippewa Flowage, but the water closest to my home is the Wisconsin River, who is also a temperamental cuss at times.

Home water would be the original sewer, The Fox Chain, but I rarely fish it! There are starting to be some big fish in there though. I fish mostly IL, IN, and WI, with some trips to MN and Canada. IN and S WI lakes are really getting better every year, and MN is on fire!

I spend most of my time on Pewaukee because of its close proximity to my home, but I consider North Twin my home water.
My favorite water is where ever I am fishing at the time!

Chautauqua, Pymatuning, Woodcock, Lake Wihelm, Kinzua, Presque Isle Bay (Erie) and a few we like to keep hush hush about.  Most of these lakes are within a hour or less drive for us. But our home lake would be Chautauqua Lake (45 min. drive).

Fox Chain ,then Shabbona. Beggars cant be choosers in my area. One thing going for us "toilet bowlers", We go anywhere else in the country and it feels like pristine waters. When guys complain about the traffic and i look around like "WHERE?", i have to think positive.

Home waters Webster, Barbee, Tippy and James. Also, spend at least a week during the summer on Lake of The Woods. Other lakes frequented Green River, Kinkaid, Shelbyville, High Falls, Evergreen and Cave Run. Need to spend some time on some Mn. waters. Al

Weekends my home lake is Solberg just outside of Phillips WI. Weekdays I get out once or twice a week on Lake Wausau or The Wisconsin River. Used to take the yearly week trip to Canada and hit the usual LOTW, Eagle, etc. or north of the Flin Flon area in Manitoba. But the past few years we've opted to take a week just exploring new lakes in WI that we haven't fished. Been fun with some great fishing for all species.

I normally hit Pewaukee and Okauchee, but will start to hit some of the other local water this coming year. Unless thedude and I change our luck on Okauchee, I might be taking a break from that lake. Also make the trip up to Plum lake every summer.

One week a year on Lake Vermilion is the big event of the year for our family. Pure joy for sure!

My home water is Lake Scugog - the southern most lake in the Kawartha group of lakes. Pigeon, Stony and Buckhorn are also lakes that I like to fish when I can.

Home waters....White Bear Lake, Bald Eagle Lake, Forrest Lake, Lake Minnetonka, Eagle Lake (Hennepin Cty), Lake Harriett, Sugar Lake, Mille Lacs, "Duck" Lake, Cass Lake, Lake Plantanganet, Vermillion (east side), Three Lakes Chain(WI), Squirrel Lake(WI), Grindstone Lake(WI), Chippewa Flowage(WI), Little Green Lake(WI), Random Lake(WI), Elkhart Lake(WI).

I feel pretty confident on any of these waters and could be found on any of them during a season.

I would have to pick three lakes;
#1 -- Leech Lake, it's where I started and where my biggest is from.

#2 -- Minnetonka, it now holds the status of producing more muskies for me
than Leech Lake has over the years. Nice to have a Jewel in the back yard!

#3 -- Vermilion, it is where my heart is! I will drive the 3 1/2 hours in the
morning, fish all day and drive home again that night. I wish I had more time, but
pretty soon my 5 year old will being going with, so I don't have to hurry home.

So many lakes, and so little time.

Kinkaid, on it about 8 to 15 times a month exept durring summer; then I go to Wisconsin and fish Trout Lake, Big Lake and some other small lakes around Woodruff. Sure is tough to be retired and have to do all this Musky fishing, but somebody has to do it! The only drawback is it cost more money than my four ex-wives did! Later

I spend a large chunk of my time on Pelican and the Three lakes chain. Those are my home waters.

I spend a lot of time at the neighbor's houses too, the multitude of small lakes around Rhinelander and all over Oneida County.

I spend most of my time on or around the Manitowish waters chain, Vilas co. WI. Early November has always been a great time for me and my guests. Summers get a little tuff with all the boat traffic, but I'll still have some action.

Lake X, where else?
My real home waters are The Mississippi River. I start fishing there in March and stay there until June, then I'm back during the bow season.
I still get drawn to Vilas County, because my dad used to have a place up there, so I know the waters well.
Pelican and others, when Steve leaves Sue on shore.
Even though I live 30 minutes from PewaukeeOkaucheeOconomowoc, I hardly ever fish them..........because I leave my boat out at the river all summer long. I really should fish them more.
