Keith,
Email me the pics ([email protected]) and I'll get them up on site. And IF you do go to the Swap Meet Saturday night, bring some of the squirkos/jerkos you were thinking of for putting up on site, and I'll take pics of those then.

Not many left, here is another bait that won't make it past the morning. I got one, very cool looking bait and Kieth painted them like a champ.

The purple perch hellhound was personally picked by Dick Pearson for me for my Northwest Angle trip. Very cool colored bait and a description would not do it justice! Get one if you can!

Also, the custom painted triple D's by Keith are very cool as well. I bought one which I do not know the color, but they all looked really nice and you should track one down if there are any left

With none available on the ERC website, how do those of us back here in the East get our hands on one of these new Hellhound lures? And what colors will they be available in for early spring?

According to Matt,

The hellhound won't be available until about May in any numbers. I'd call Matt and ask if he can get one to you. He seems like a pretty good guy.

I will be stocked sooner rather than later.

Word around the campfire is that the Hellhound passed the 3 am pool test at the hotel on Friday night (tough to pass).... A couple of my best retailers were at the pool and are pushing me to get them to market. The review was that it had action like a 6 inch Phantom and ease of use like a Manta.

I am going to take some under water video and hopefully will have some customs at the next show.

Is this a DDD or DD body without the lip?

Thought I saw a pic that ToddM posted once, but cant find it anymore and if I remember right it had the "wings" on it.

anyone got pics?

thx much.

That is exactly what it looks like. It has a very similiar body and the wing tips at the rear. I picked one up and can't wait to throw it. Everything else they have put out is great, so expect the same thing with this bait.

On a side note Keith does excellant work on old lures. I had him paint all my DDD's and believers to exact specs.
I mentioned in another post how he triple paints the lure to change color based on wobble which magically changes colors from pearl to purple...So pretty I don't want to throw them.

I was one of the 3am poolside particapants and even though we didnt have a decent jekbait rod at all either too wimpy or too long the bait looks great and stays down,, all "barred" paint jobs really stand out too,,mo money,mo money but Im gonna have to get one

do you retrieve it like you would a phantom and/or manta.......OR......do you rip it like a TR twitcher (long sweeps/rips with pauses)?

thx much.

No the rip bait you may be referring to was the Rip and Glide.

That project is dead in the water so to speak. That bait never wanted to work right & we didn't want to just throw it on the market for the hell of it.

As I said about 47 million times at the show (I can barely whisper today...hahaha). The Hellhoud is a walk the dog type glide bait. Basically, take everything you love about a Phantom and a Manta, mash 'em together into one bait, and throw out what you don't like, and you have the Hellhound. It ain't a miracle bait, but does a few things better than any other glide on the market.

Thanx for the kind words dudes...

Bryan @ ERC

The hell hound looked good in the pool friday night we all took turns throwing it, works like a phantom, you can really let it kick out with light taps, struggled working the bait some like Hooks said, we had a rod with really slow action, not used to the rod, it will be a good glide bait. Like that Pearson perch pattern.

Wish for soft water

thx much.

The HELLHOUND sinks slowly with a wobble (shake) on the drop..

It is not the same body as the Triple D...it is a totally different mold....
