Santa was exceptionally good to me this year. My fiance bought me a new computer!!! This 3.4ghz P4 really rocks, especially with a 1ghz of DDR memory and a cool flat screen monitor. I promised to cut down on new bait purchases this year to receive this gift. I also got a pair of Frogg Toggs raingear, this is really funky stuff. It's the same stuff our waterproof surgical gowns are made out of.

This is the first Christmas together for Lori and I, as well as Lori's first Christmas after taking up Musky Fishing, so guess what she's getting? LOL. Another stick, some great baits, etc. And since her birthday is 01/01, she's also getting a new tackle box, among other things. She knows about the new stick, it's kind of difficult to disguise the wrapping. I have absolutely no freakin clue what she is getting me, but I'm hopin for a new air brush, or a small lathe. Peace to all this season!

MM, I would think if your a musky fisherman you would have the patience to wait till x-mas to open your presents? At least the Frogs anyways.

Yeah, I know. She had to order the computer right away to get the deal they had and she didn't know all the specs that we needed. Plus it was my birthday on Tuesday, so it was a present for both.

MM, does your fiance know the beast she feeds by getting you a new computer? If she does, marry her tomorrow! My kids are enjoying the new computer I got them, it was an insane deal to say the least.

Mn, first christmas with your wife and all you got her was musky stuff? You should have gotten her a few "other" fun things too!

Excuse me, but do I live on the wrong side of the International Date Line?

I thought that Christmas present opening (Sponge, lumps of coal don't count as presents!) was at earliest on Christmas Eve!?

Zach can relate to this more than any of the muskieteers......
I got a pair of handline reels and all the fixings for pounding the eyes on The Mississippi River.
High water? Strong current? Who cares. I can do it all now.
And DVD's of the 1980 USA vs USSR, USA vs Finland Olympic hockey games.

Hey Jonesi, Glad you're get'n some quality time with the little ones. Hope your holiday was enjoyable.

On a similar note we had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends at several occassions. One very nice gift was my Father-in-law being let out of the hospital for our family Christmas. He suffered a stroke late last week but is doing well on his recovery.

Spent today with my parents in southern WI.

Family, friends, and faith...is what the holiday is about to me. I've got the other 364 days to worry about boats and baits.

I did get a pretty cool Brett Favre jersy though..:)

I got 8 new baits from the boss, and a St. Croix Avid AM76HF with an
Ambassadeur 6500C4 attatched to it(had to sit down for a while after
that). The best was seeing my boys come down and seeing the tree
full of presents after being empty the night before. Happy holidays
everyone.

Santa Gore-Tex smiled upon me, too, TomyV! I'm especially thrilled with the set of Mepps lures from the Kly auction, there was a fine selection and I was so good not to peek until Christmas morning. Also landed an Abu Big Game 7000 reel with the power handle. Can't wait to use it, m

I got a nice set of chest waders. Also got a router, with table. Some gift certificates to Menards. Time to tinker with the warmer weather this week. I will be working on building new tackle storage for the boat, and possibly some new lures.
