Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Get out your camera and take MUSKIE photos this Summer and Fall! This thread will be for pictures taken in August 2004 only, please. Resize the photos to 640/480 and attach them here. Enter as often as you wish, but PLEASE enter shots from this August only. If you can't resize and upload or do not know how, send the shots to me at [email protected]. The best shot from each month will earn the photographer a MuskieFIRST Coffee Mug and a MuskieFIRST hat! | Guided my brother / helped him to land his first muskie yesterday. I've been trying to get him to go for almost 2 years. He fishes occasionally at Shabbona in IL and has never had the chance to put one in the boat. After only 3 hrs on the water (and right after putting on a very feminine looking safety pin spinner -- I told him he had to be a confident heterosexual to use that lure....) he tagged a nice one. Glad I could send him home with some lasting memories with is older bro....... Also tagged my largest bass ever (I don't normally target bass -- was a nice bonus while casting for muskie). What a great way to spend a day -- on the water!!!! Posts: 130 Location: Menomonee Falls, WI | Here are a couple pictures of my 50 1/2. My personal best. Caught and released from a Southeastern Wisconsin Lake. The little guy in the picture is my 2 1/2 yr old son Casey. This was his second trip musky fishing with dad. The first time we were out we boated a 43". The second time.... well I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. This fish was definetlely a 33-35 lb fish. Regardless, father and son will be spending more time fishing muskies together. What a way to break your son or daughter into the sport.
