It's that time of year for the WolfPack to make an appearance on the Big Pond. Extreme One, DaveJ, Bill Schwartz, Jason, Theedz, Tuffy, Corey, Sanks! Let's get out there and pound some ocean fish!

7/31-8/1, weather permitting. Let's get some 4 yr olds! Who is in?!

Dude, the one weekend I will be up north. I would love to go, but I will be picking up our new puppie that weekend, so I'll have to take a rain check. Let me know what's up though. I would love to stick some stinky oceanic critters on the grill.

If anybody has room, let me know, I'd love to hit them before they start turning brown and black in the river.

The guy who let's me throw up over the side of his rig gets a free pair of Off Shore Planer Boards! That and I'll supply munchies and beer (if allowed by the Captain).

I feel like one of those Greenhorns begging thier way onto a ship before the crab season on the Bering Straight.

Shep,

I appreciate the offer. When I was growing up in Milw. my dad had a 30 foot Silverton he kept at McKinley.. I have many fond memories of catching Kings and Coho back in the late 70's when the fishing was really good. I understand it's as good or better now... Enjoy it while it lasts.

As of now it looks like I will be guiding on the 31st, they are deciding between the 31st and a day in Sept. I'll know more by the end of the week.

Is everybody meeting at 4 at McKinley or are we going to launch and run? If the later, what channel are we going to be on?

Doesn't really matter if we meet at the launch. I know Tuffy likes to go out from Bender. I will launch from McKinley, around 4:15AM.

Channel 69 is fine.

GMG, I'd have offered you a seat in the Lund Salmon Angler SS, but I figure we should take this nice and slow. hehehe Besides, that boat is way too fast for you. LOL

I will be there with my sparkly boat at 4am . I'll be running J -plugs and Blue splatter back. For an breakfast we might have a little Monkey Puke and a side of Watermellon for those luscious steelhead. Never had much luck with doggers and flys . I will have some ready if its the ticket.

Alrighty.....Komar, you gonna put a Power Probe off a Dipsey?

I'm bringing some Depth Raiders just in case we run into some toothy greens.

I was thinking more like a top raider off the ball but a probe on a dipsy may be the ticket
I'll have to go get some custom colors!...something in a nice poop shade

Just a word of caution for everybody launching at McKinley. There's going to be APBA offshore boat racing this weekend and McKinley is going to be a little messy, problally not for going out at 4am, but coming in may be a nightmare.

The website for APBA said they'll approaching speeds of 180mph....I think if we leave your partner out, we'll have a chance...three guys, no way.

I was out there last year when the powerboats were there. No problem, as they pretty much stayed inside the breakwall, except for the Red Donzai, which took off straight east. Man, could that thing fly! I think it made the round trip to Luddington in about 45 minutes! hehehe Loading up took a bit, but it was fun to sit and watch these boats practice.

Let's pray for calmer winds for Saturday.

Has she been rough out there lately? I heard that on Saturday it was blowing pretty good. I'll just have to bring my barf bags along.
