| Hey, I have a wierd question but it's eating me up so I have to ask! I need to know how to live a life that will aloow me to fish as much as I need {just about everyday}! I was wondering if there is a good career choice that will allow this or should I just save up and by a house on a lake? I know theres plenty others like me on this site so let me know how you satisfy your cravings!!! | |||

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | I am a full time 7th grade teacher. This allows me to guide all summer long, and on the weekends as well. Don't forget I also get a week of spring break, 2 weeks for christmas, a week for thanksgiving, and a ton of fridays and mondays off. I also get days off for fog, snow, ect... This allows me to spend over 160 days a year on the water.

| Agree about teaching, I am a substitute teacher in search of a full time position, but fishing is the best hobby with the summers off. I wake up at 5:00 and fish #*^@ near every morning. I come home and nap for an hour. It's a pretty nice life. | |||

I have worked in the fishing business my entire life, and can vouch for a few professions in the business allowing lots of time on the water, but sales and marketing isn't one of them!

There are plenty of bonus species for eating plus deer, bunnies, squirrles, nuts, berries, wild onions, etc. Sell everything and stock up on some lures, terminal tackle, water purifier, good sleeping bag and go. Get-r-done!

Posts: 3913 | If you want to save yer bucks, don't buy on water. (unless you want the investment.) You'll be trailering all over anyway, and you'll want your boat in your dirveway/garage inbetween. Like I've said many times, heroin is a safer path than a major musly bug. Which makes me think of a wasteful post....
