I'll be on the Manitowish Chain this weekend and all next week. Can't wait! If they're not biting on the Chain, I'll drop the boat in somewhere else.

Good luck to everyone. It is finally here!

Pelican, Three Lakes Chain, and a couple of smaller lakes around Rhinelander. Three days of nothing but musky I didn't think this would ever come back in January.

Be in the Mellen Area for small fish and walleyes. Hopefully weather will be warmer than what I have heard. Good to hear spawn should be done and fish hoefully on the bite.

Green Bay on Saturday/Sunday. Saturday prefishing for the MWS Eye tourney, but I will have a musky bait draggin. Sunday, the tourney is over at 2, so I may just have to go out with a spread of Muskie baits in tow!

I will be up in Manitowish next Thursday through Sunday. Bring on the slime. Hopefully the fish don't just follow my baits like they do down here.

N. Vilas county--lake hopping. Stayed home this weekend and installed a Lowarance LMS 330C on my console. Can't wait to try out the mapping chip, and the colors look awesome! Fun toy.

My daughter and I are heading west instead. Going back to our place near The Mississippi to check things out after all of the rain that they've had over there since we were there last. I'm sure that some trees are down in the woods blocking the driving trail. Happpens every spring when there are hard rains. So I'll be working like a lumberjack instead of working for muskies. We might get out on the river if it's not too muddy and high...... bit I'm not betting on it.
Good luck guys and gals.

Ill be guiding on one of my favorite "Black Lagoons".The one where the clients are blindfolded going in and out and frisked for GPS units.Another cold front hit this morning so its anybodys guess what mood the muskies will be in. Have a great Wisconsin season everyone. I hope you all get a personal best this year.

I might head over to Deer lake on Saturday or Sunday. Won't decide until I see the weather reports for the weekend.

I will be heading to Vilas county and hitting my usual opening weekend spots with a few new ones to try. Hopefully the fish will cooperate better than they are here in the south!

I will be on the Chippewa Flowage for opening weekend. Have not been there since the walleye opener so have no clue what the fish are doing other than swimmin'.

i think i am going to wait until tuesday or wednesday and head to the chippewa flowage. i'd rather fish water that has been pounded all weekend, than to be there while the crowds are doing the pounding!!

I'm new to the webpage. Great topics.

I'm expecting my first child anyday. Due on the 28th. I think I'll be taking my wife with me as long as the baby hasn't arrived. Polk County lake or River. Still undecided. Good luck everyone.

Due to work issues my plans have been sunk. My Backup plan is to get out on the St Croix and see if she will give up one of the fish I moved last year.

Ha when I get out of that #*^@ thing AGAIN, (figured it out, watchout) I am going to lather your tent with peanut butter and nuts. When you go to bed the locals bears will have to fight over who gets the 65 lbs, 8 foot nut bar in the polyester bag?lol
