Posts: 25 Location: London | Hi I use a Hawg wobbler for slower surface presentations & a Jackpot for walking the dog at all retrieve speeds but wanted some sugestions for propbaits for faster retrieves.Thanks. Seb

Posts: 1536 Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Topper Stopper from Mouldy's is far and away the best true "prop" bait out there. Large propeller at each end makes a great sound and moves a bunch of water. Be sure to buy more than one as you will have to have a back up when the first one gets chewed up. Black with orange props for stained to dirty water and green/yellow belly for all other conditions. For topwater tailspinners I prefer the Topraider myself. Especially on the lake that Muskiemedic, Sworrall and myself have visited.

Posts: 2378 | The topraider has definitely been at the top of my list for awhile. Now that I have a couple pacemakers I fully expect that bait to forge its way to the top of the heap. ![]() I also like the Top Walker, Marv's Hairy Bug, and Awakers. Edited by BALDY 3/29/2004 8:47 AM

Location: Kimberly, WI | I like the Suicks Cisco Kid Topper, and I really like my Gooch's Tally Wacker. Both in my favorite musky lure color! "black" of course. The one I have not tried yet because I heard they are not made anymore, please tell me otherwise, because I want to use it. It's called a Globe. I made a couple lures for a guy at work, in return I got this surface bait.

Posts: 69 Location: Just above the thermoclime | There are several globe style baits still made. You're probably thinking about the LeLure globe - which will cost you an arm and a leg these days (thanks e-bay). Go to muskie-lures.com - there is a globe on there. Or check R&H

Stompers and Topwalkers have been good to me. Topraiders were a go to bait a couple years ago. We caught a bunch that year, I think it was 98'. Ty

Posts: 432 Location: mpls | Here's the one that we tested last year. It's a TrueGlide "Studfinder". Think Topraider with a larger profile and a different noise. Attachments ---------------- ![]()
