Posts: 1937 Location: Black Creek, WI | Most of us musky nuts are also lure addicts. Despite owning literally hundreds and probably in some extreme cases even thousands of different lures, I bet we all could happily and effectively fish with our DIRTY DOZEN. You know... those baits that always seem to get wet (and bit). So, what is your Dirty Dozen line-up? Mine (in no particular order) would most likely be: 1. 10" Jake 2. Baby Depthraider (straight) 3. Triple D 4. Mepps Marabou 5. Grinder Spinnerbait 6. Topraider 7. Undertaker 8. Reef Hawg 9. TR Twitcher 10. Hawg Wobbler 11. Jerko 12. Wild Card I think I could fish anywhere, anytime with that line-up... especially with one "wild card" that would be trip specific. The next best question would be what is your Fabulous FIVE line-up... but we can save that one for later (heh heh). jlong

Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Out of the hundreds that I own I'd have to say I usually put about 6 in a small box to take out with me, but if I pick 12 here they are. 1) Rizzo Wizz 2) Slippery Sam 3) Grim Reaper Tandum 4) Musky Killer 5) Slammer ThunderHead 6) Jointed Ernie 7) Jointed GrandMa 8) Jointed Baby Depth Raider 9) Ledgend MeeNee 10)Shallow Invader 11)Slammer Drop Belly (New to my box) 12)Wood on Water Power Probe (I cant get this thing out of my hand and I sleep with it) 13) I too need a Bakers Dozen now, I forgot about the Wabull I got at the Milwaukee show. Posts: 827 Location: Minneapolis,Minnesota | 1)Medium size bucktails (Buchertails, Voo Doo tails etc.) 2)Lily Tail (white w/orange blade) 3)Tuff Shad glider (Durst Firetiger) 4)Depthraider (Miller Perch) 5)slowy Sam (black/nickle) 6)6" Reef Hawg (black) 7)Jackpot (perch) 8)Topraider (old Field mouse) 9)Suick 10)Squirrely Burt (glitter perch) 11)Manta (white tiger) 12)Musky Treat (walleye) Not really in that order. Bucktails would be my "go to" bait on any given day. I know this line up will change with some of the baits I've gotten this hard water season. Baits like the Musky Trap, Snowcrest's bucktails and globe, The Wabull, the Pacemaker and HR's I'm sure will be replacing some of todays dirty dozen. Edited by Phish Killer 2/26/2004 10:27 AM
