| My trolling motor had one heck of a workout but I was able to pick up one nice fatty. We had a few follows but it was tuff fishing. This was my first Fig8 Musky. She came in strong made a few cuts at it and went deep. I made one big eight and she came back up and crunched it! Cleared the water twice and tried to relocate my trollng motor but we got her in the net. I hope with this cold weather for the weekend it will pick up a notch. Ran into SteveDawg on the water early but never heard how he did.
See ya on the water,
R

Location: Lafayette, IN | We never saw a fish all day (from 6:30a.m. till 4:30p.m.)! I was shocked. But what a beautiful day to be on the water and not at work! Tee shirts on Nov 4th. WOW! My uncle certainly saw the other side of musky fishing though. Got to meet Randy and one of his fishing buddies, Bob. Nice boat Randy. You're livin' large! We'll have to try and hook up next season. Beautiful fish too! Glad to see you guys brought one in. I think the boat is headed to the barn for the winter. We sure have had a great time in her this year. I'll be replaying all my trips this year in my head as we begin dreaming about when the ice will be gone for next spring. Bring on the chats and coffee!
