Posts: 202 Location: Angola, IN | My brother Tom and I had an unbelievable fishing trip with Marc Thorpe last week. We caught a ton of big fish. These were wild fish, the fishing was hot As a side note: Tom and I both realize that these big fish do not makes us incredible fishermen, we just want to share the results the trip of a lifetime. Marc is a hell of a fisherman and if you want to catch some pigs like this, I suggest you book the man. Here are the stats for the week: 40 rips 26 fish landed 92.5 feet of muskies 43" Average 8 -- 30+ pound fish, including two fish pushing 40 pounds Here is a list of the fish we caught: 55, 54.5, 54, 53, 50, 49, 49, 49, 46, 45, 45, 45, 44, 44, 43, 42, 42, 42, 38, 37, 34, 34, 32, 32, 31, 30 I got the biggest, at 55", and I got 2 fish at 49". Tom had the hot hand: 54.5", 54", 53", 50", and 49". As far as how and where they were caught.....well, we can't say. So don't ask and don't email me or Tom, because we're not going to tell you. Like I said earlier, if you want to catch fish like this, give Marc Thorpe a call. This is a special fishery and the guys who know how to fish it, don't want it exploited and ruined. Marc (and many others) go to great lengths to protect these waters. The only way to catch these fish is to hire Marc, because the water is way to big for you to figure it out....even if you had all summer. I doubt if we ever get into 'em like this again. It was incredible. I can't believe that we'd catch 45" fish and be disappointed. Tomcat and I are ruined forever....Thanks Marc!!! | The Hulberts are my heroes!!! With out a doubt some of the most stand up guys in the muskie world.. "what you see is what you get".. Out of all people I have met since getting into this industry I can only say that statment about 6 people.. Dont let any fools get you down. good for you guys on the tight lip..
