Posts: 7049 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Sadly I had to call and cancel a three day trip I had planned to stay up at Sunrise Resort in Presque Isle, Wi. Poor me, right? But, in talking with the new owner, Scott Behrendt he told me not only is their $95 per night special going til the end of the muskie season, but that he'd like to run some sort of contest with the community here at MuskieFIRST! Prizes will be: One will receive 2 free nights stay in one of the cabins (one person stays free, but bring your friends) over the weekend of October 26-29! Two separate MuskieFIRST prizes (either sweatshirts or long-sleeved t-shirts, gotta check the M1st stuff vault) Pretty simple stuff and 3 ways to win! To Enter: Post a single picture AND/OR "Like" Sunrise Resorts on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SunriseResortWI/) Rules: 1. Pics from this year only please. Either a fish, or your kids fishing, or a cool sunset or whatever picture that somehow relates to fishing. 2. Denote whether or not you can make it that weekend. If you cannot make it and your picture is chosen, you can still win one of the MuskieFIRST prizes. 3. The grand prize winner will ONLY be given to someone that posts a pic, but if you don't have a pic to share but "Like" the page on Facebook, you can still win 4. Three winners will be chosen. The grand prize to the best pic for someone who can go, a M1st prize to the second best pic, and lastly the second M1st prize will go to a random person who "Liked" the Facebook page. 5. Contest entries start NOW and I will choose the winner on Wednesday 10/18 at 10PM! | You can take me out of the running for the trip, I can "like" the resort in person in about 25 minutes, I'll let that go to someone who could use it. | Daughters first trout and pike this summer. Looking for that first muskie. Would love to bring her up for some sucker fishing. So, yes available that weekend. | Make sure those battery terminals are tight! Luckily the boat didn't start on fire. From last month. Almost 3k to fix! Not a traditional fishing pic, but it's worth posting.
