| Mille lacs is kicking out some impressive, muskie sized gators these days. looks like European caliber (almost).

| All of the northern dudes seem to hate pike .... Maybe its because we don't have pike down this way but I'd be overjoyed to catch fish like that on a semi-regular basis lol |

That is Jason Hamernick. I'm just guessing, but I don't think he really needs to or cares to try to make a fish look bigger than it is.

| Awesome fish!!! I would be MORE than happy to catch Pike like that. I have zero problem with catching Pike. I enjoy catching them as well.
It's threads and comments from others, like this, that prevent a lot of people from even bothering to take the time to post photos of fish they've caught. It's threads and comments from others, like this, that send people away from great web sites like this. It's gotten very old, over the years, weeding through the threads full of nay-sayers and people overly critiquing and overly discounting people's catches.
Steve is right....life is way too short for the B.S.

| I've been noticing Jason and a few others have been sticking some nice mid 40 class pike out there this year. European caliber? No, but not sure where in Canada the fish are so consistently big that a fat 45"er wouldn't get some love. |

I got no problem with this. Better too close than too far away. I have a picture of me hold my PB smallie. It was a 5 pounder but looks like a 2 pounder because the camera was too far away!! UGH! |

one of a few reasons I dont post anymore...this one of last posts you see from me...sick of people egos on the Net...use to promote site on my Truck and that got bladed off two weeks ago!!! That only reason I found the site was out fishing and saw MUSKIEFIRST.COM across back of truck so that how Mine WAS!!! |
