I could use a new PB as the current one is getting old...where do you think the largest musky on earth currently swims?

Posts: 1039 Location: North St. Paul, MN | 2003 and counting, Joe. Not looking good either as I can't tear myself away from the small rivers... However, in 2005 I saw "her"...eastern Lac Seul. I'll say there. Edited by muskyroller 7/10/2017 2:20 PM

Location: Contrarian Island | so many choices, but I'd suspect in the great lakes somewhere...GB, or out east. Don't discount a 60 x super fat being in mille lacs either

Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | Hopefully LOTW, lac Seul, or Ottawa river because I plan on (hopefully) making a trip to one of those next year. If I catch the record I can assure you nodody will be finding out about it. I would get good photos that without a doubt prove it as a record but there is no way I'd go public about it, and I honestly think a lot of other Muskie guys feel the same way (maybe not). But, I can assure you, that if I pull a record bass out of somewhere you will see me on the cover of some fishing magazine

Last time I checked there was no levels in Muskie fishing. It's not required to catch 1 before you catch the record. I wasn't planning a trophy trip either just, some lakes that I could enjoy the whole experience at and not see water skiers every 3 min.

Location: Contrarian Island | Green bay has the potential, Mille Lacs for sure has it. I don't really think Lac Seul does. I mean it has been fished for how long and really what is the biggest legit fish to come from it? I think they top out there smaller than other places. but who knows. it's fun to think about what swims in lakes like Seul.
