Where are you headed on vacation this year to chase muskies? Canada, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, or another destination? What made you choose that water? I am doing the MuskieFIRST Sabaskong trip, and a trip with Sue to the Goon, plus a weekend or two on the Goon and a week in Minnesota combo working and fishing, Why? Spotted muskies!

I'm heading to St. Clair, for a change of pace and numbers, as well as an option for smallies. Chautauqa, NY, cause it's free. Cave Run for my B-day the last week of October as it's now tradition, and possibly Green River, KY, since I've only been able to fish it once and would like to take another shot at it.

All of the above as they are great fisheries and diverse bodies of water to test my skills and learn!

Good fishin',

Tyler Campbell

I have plans to head up to LOTW every 2 weeks for 3-4 day trips thanks to my new work schedule ... would also like to squeeze Vermillion and Cass in a few times to get out of WI ...

LOTW is one place I've dreamed about fishing and never been. Unfortunately it's not going to happen this year, but maybe next.

Is it as hard to run on the lake as I've heard?

Deb and I will be at the MuskieFIRST Sabaskong outing.

I will try to get to the Cass Lake outing but not sure yet...See if I can get another pig without a tail....this year I'll try to avoid a ride in the Worrall family ambulance and stay out of the Bemidji Hospital E.R....:)

Cave Run this past spring will probably be it for me, unless I can get to a river or two here. Got a pop up camper last week and hope to smoke the tires off it this summer, dragging the assorted Sponges to and fro in search of rockfish and various salt h2o denizens...

Headed to LOTW in July with Jomusky and GreggM they had room. Get to ride with Gregg in his new Ranger (not used to going that fast on the water). A long weekend in August at the Muskie Alliance tournament in Eagle river with my wife. Nothing else planned but, things change.
Hey Sworral want to set a matchfishing day in July between the 12th and 19th when Joe and I are in Canada.

All of my trips are on the Manitowish Chain in WI this year due to family tradition.  Been there twice already and the next trips are mid-July, late August, early Sept, late Sept and mid-Oct.

I'll be heading to Chautaqua this year a few times for long weekend trips. No Canada this year, but hopefully a trip to Buffalo harbor this fall if I can swing it. ALERT! just comfirmed, company trip to Saskatchewan for giant pike. Believe it or not, I've never caught a northern. Should be a blast.

Cave Run in March--what an awesome trip. Nothing like putting fish in the boat when there is 2+ feet of ice back home.

LOTW in July--hope to finally break the 50" barrier.

Starting to realize I am quite lucky as some of your vacation destinations are very near my backyard in Wisconsin.

Well, I got trips planned, but I just got off the phone with my brother Mike. I'm super jealous.

He's a school teacher and he's spending 6 weeks this summer fishing Vilas County, 2 weeks fishing the Goon, and 2.5 weeks fishing Eagle on Herbie's. What a prick!!!

I take Mondays off all summer, so 3 day weekends make for a vacation each week. Just head north and apply water.

PMTT Shelbyville

Eagle River Next Week, PMTT...

Family vacation to Hayward for 10 days in August. Too many lakes to list, we go where the fish are biting.

I am hoping for a trip in Oct. to Cass but that is way up in the air.
