Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Completely different reel, fits my hand better, and I have average size hands. Hellatious gearing. This, gents, is a REEL. We'll feature the rods next (up to 10'1") and then the Toro S, my favorite new machine for 2015.

Like to see em side by side. ^ +1 some close up video would be nice too and any specific info on exactly how it differs from the NaCl in parts/design. I am glad to hear the rep mention that there is a change to the thumb bar (more info like that would be appreciated).

Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I think some of the the extra weight is in the gearing. Much larger.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Good pictures. Looks like they are a little narrower. Do they sit taller/higher too? 400 series round reels don't fit my wife's hands the best but she has no problem with the Revo Toro 60. Will the new Revos fit smaller hands as well as the older styles? I might want a Beast, but I'm glad that the S sounds like it's still a nice reel, while also having a slightly lower price point than the NaCL.

Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The new reels are the same basic height, maybe just a smidge lower.

FAT-SKI - 7/21/2015 1:08 PM For those of your that got lucky enough to try it or better yet own one, and also own the tranX. How does it compare to that reel? Based on gear ratio and IPT they don't seem like they were trying to compare, it is a more durable higher tech revo toro and you could probably do well having these and a tranx.
