Mini buchertails
Fudally musky candy

Lots of options though, but those have all caught muskies in my boat.

An ordinary Mepps in #4 or #5 in your favorite color might be just the ticket for them, and not as much of a pain in the wallet if they should snap one off on an errant cast..

I would vote for the Fudally Musky Candy as well. It casts well and has a single straight wire that won't foul like a Mepps can.

Large bass spinnerbaits would also work well and are little for forgiving around weeds, timbers, etc.

Hard to beat alot of what's been mentioned. Hard to beat mepps and rizzos. Even use a regular bass size spinner bait. They do not get hung up as easy.

Rizzo tails!
I've caught a bunch of fish on the Blue Fox vibrax tails too! They aren't made of the most quality components, but they are reasonable. We call them the "dinner bell" because of the design and fish calling ability.

Mepps marabou 5 blade or a Mayhem Babygirl. Both heavy and easy to cast for their size and catch fish.

Mepps agila with a #5 french blade has been good to my nephews and me. When my kids are big enough it will be those and an old Lindy buckaboo with the french blade. Lots of good options posted here.

Mepps Musky Marabou. They are light but being marabou cast easy, and the number 7 blade doesn't have much drag at all.

I would also recomend blue fox vibrax, this lure has produced most of the fish I have caught on bucktails.

T-n-T tri-glide 6.5. Best small bucktail ever made.
