I have had mine since 2012. I really enjoy fishing or if this boat. I added a just encase deck box added 18 inches to rear deck. Bought it from skeeter boat center in chipawa falls they treated me great. And now they have a store in Ramsey mn witch is great close to my home. I had Crestliner now that I went to a glass boat I'll never go back.

I just got one in late October, so I have only been in it for a few hours. It tracks better than any other boat I have been in, rides good, good storage, good fit and finish. About all I would change is they should make the battery storage bigger.
I don't know of a better 18' fishing boat.

The only thing I don't like it's the 2025 mx won't fit in my garage. As far as I'm concerned skeeter hit a home run with the mx.

How long does the garage need to be for the 1825 to fit?

Just finished my 2nd year in mine. I can think of 2 minimal things to change. One is making the side rails longer. Can't really use the front half of them because rods interfere with driver and passenger seats. Would be really nice if they had rear rails for prop wash rods. Second, boat sits pretty high on trailer making shallow water landings launching/loading challenging.

Length specs according to Skeeter website is 23' 6" and 21' 4" with swing away tongue. Do know if you don't lower the motor almost all the way down, it will hit the top of garage door opening.

Is there anything you don't like about it?

The front casting deck could be bigger. I wish they would move side console back 12"-18". Perfect boat for one to two guy's.

What's nice you have more choices for motors they have a 150 SHO and a 200 light witch they did not have when I bought mine. I like the looks of that 150 sho that would be my choice if I was buying a new boat now.

I have run mine for two seasons. Love it. Yes the front casting deck isn't huge, but there is plenty of room for one and at times I have two up there. I don't mind where the console is, tons of room behind it. I always feel in control of the boat. I have been out in wind and big waves on mille lacs and did not worry about it. Felt perfectly safe. Hull can handle big water and it doesn't sit too high up off the water. Easy access to net fish, handle fish, release fish and work baits boat side. Love that I can run the boat on smaller central MN lakes and still go to Mille Lacs, Leech, or LOTW and run just fine there as well. Kind of an all purpose boat. Got a factory ski pole for when the wife and kids want to play. Mine is a 2012, so I did't have as many motor options as there are now. F150 4 stroke is a great motor though. No issues, plenty fast, good on gas. Did I mention I love this boat?

I have run this boat for 2 years. I really like the boat. This is the single console model and has plenty of room for 3 people throwing muskie lures. Good storage overall and I can put our 8' 6" and 9' rods in the port side compartment and lockable. The boat does sit high on the trailer, I think this is because of the deep V in front. I have the keel guard. I find it easier to get the boat on the trailer on a flatter pad than one that is in deep water. Maybe this is just me. I purchased the boat from Mr. Marine in Fond du lac, WI. They are a Mercury dealer and put a Merc on a Skeeter. The motor is a 150 4stk with a SS prop. I can do 48 mph top end. Yamaha is a good motor but I wanted a Merc. The boat is very stable with people moving around while fishing. I can fish a 500 acre lake or water as big as Vermilion in MN. The boat can float in about 18" of water. Photo.

Not much not to like. I have a full season on mine now and love it.

The only complaint I have is the location of the rear seat bases. There is one on each side of the motor, which I understand. If there were a seat in the middle the motor wouldn't trim all the way up. However I would rather pull the seat after I'm done on the water and be able to be to comfortable while leaning against a butt seat.

The boat rides great and takes on as much water as your willing to take on. Not saying it is great in four footers, but really what is. It can handle it if need be though. The 150 is a great match to this boat in my opinion. My top mph is 49. Plus that 4-stroke is just so #*^@ smooth. One suggestion, upgrade to the 112lb trolling motor. The 80 works, but there has been more than one time I wish I had the 112.

I have not had one problem loading or unloading this boat. Shallow, deep, uneven, etc. You just need to learn your boat and how it works. I will say, you are not cranking this boat on with the winch so you better get the trailer deep enough. I've been to some pretty shallow landings this year and haven't had an issue getting the trailer deep enough. It's just a pain in the a** when you realize you haven't back in far enough.

It's like any new boat though. It's takes some getting used to but after you have it down you really won't think about again. The used thing on the other hand is an issue all its own. Your best bet would be the Skeet Boat Center in Chippewa Falls. They tend to have a lot of inventory.

I was very surprised at how shallow this rig would run. I was also thinking, give Anchor Marine a call in Appleton, WI. That is where I bought mine and I thought they had one or two left, but don't quote me on that. Great guys to deal with over there too.

As mentioned before you can't crank this boat onto the trailer unless the boat is basically floating off the bunks but then it may not be aligned when you pull out. I've found that if you back the trailer in so that the wheel fenders just become covered works best when loading. Much deeper and the back end of the boat floats off of the bunks and the boat may not be aligned properly when you pull out. When out for my first trip each season, I spray my bunks with silicon. Seems to really help loading and unloading. If you do this, you might make it a habit not to unhook front hook until boat is over water, especially on a steeper landing as the bunks get really slippery. Also, as mentioned before, you need to lower motor almost all the way down to get into a standard garage door opening.

As mentioned above, LOWER THE MOTOR BEFORE ENTERING THE GARAGE! Stupid me, first night I bring my brand new rig home, I back it just as I did with my old boat. Aligning it into the garage and SMASH! Good thing the motor housing is stronger than my garage door. A couple of small scratches but a crushed garage door.

I have the dual console w/bubble shields and have fished two off the front without much issue. Is it extremely comfortable? No. However if you went with the single console that would be a different story. You essentially gain 2' of deck where that second console would be located.

One of the best things I like it's rod storage.you can put 12 footers in the side locker and I have put 8 footers in the center locker. All in all its just a great boat
Last fall on vermilion 50.4 mph Yamaha F 150

Speaking of rod storage. That is another thing that if I rally had to nit-pick on something. I agree with muskyhunter47 on his statements, but the center rod locker does not have anything to "divide" each rod. Pro - you can get a ton of rods in there. Con-you need to have rod socks/sleeves on all of them so they dont get tangled. I fish other species than just Musy so I tend to have all of my spinning gear on the boat to. I can put 15 frickin' rods in there, but unless they are sleeved they become a disaster.

I guess I don't really have anything to compare to when it coms to that. My last rig was aluminum so this compared to that is worlds of difference. I don't think it gets blown around, but someone who owned glass before will have to give the correct comparison.

No, it tracks great and drifts slowly parallel to the wind.
