Just curious how it went for everyone? Hope everyone saw at least some action. Hope some people have pics for sharing...

As my buddy said to me today. "you get to wear the crown of shame". I have extended my personal best streak of doom. 18 straight fish hooked and lost. 17 last season and one for sure today, which I am pretty dang sure was a nice fish. There was a questionable 2nd one as well, but no proof it was or wasn't a musky... so were gunna say it wasn't to make myself feel just a tad better. I need redemption!!!

Spent just 7 hours in the boat, my son had two follows and caught a bass off of his 6 inch Jake. Other than that no muskies in the boat!!!

Couple of follows and a strike this afternoon on the city lake. No visual on the strike and never got a hook in so who knows what it was. Got to take a good buddy out for his first muskie trip ever and he's already excited about the next time. That alone made it a great outing. Can't wait to get him in on the action too. All action came on jerk/glide baits.

4 follows, two of them were monsters, but no hooks in the mouth. Other than that, 3 northerns and one big largemouth on an 8" Phantom.

It was tough. I managed 1 spawned out 41" in the rain Saturday morning. 1 hour into the season!
Then the sun came out and the fish went back to bed. Fished all Saturday and Sunday with 5 follows total. The pike were going crazy at least. Kept the day going. +30 pike (nothing big)
