Posts: 1036 | So I was putting together my rods for the opener on Saturday. Got all my reels serviced, rods taken care of, new line on all reels...etc. Then I started tying on leaders. Went for my spring wire leaders for a new spring rod and couldn't find them. Panic set in. That was Monday night. Tuesday I placed an order online at Stealth Tackle for some leaders. These particular leaders are the key to a one of my favorite presentations. Without them, I'd be out a great presentation on Saturday. Paid Stealth via the Paypal feature and noted that I really needed them by Saturday. And they showed up on Thursday night. Could. Not. Believe. It. Thanks so much guys for taking care of me! Thought I would share this great buying experience.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Best leaders on the market! I completely forgot for 3 years to change one of my Stealth leaders on one of my Canada setups and when I got to it I felt the leader and it had boated over 100 fish at that time. Just a few minor nicks and still strong as could be. Still changed it out being 3 years old but I was impressed with the durability of it.

Posts: 1036 | Depends. I like the heavy flouro for most all applications. Except for a few smaller spring baits. But I do have rods with a walk the dog type of wire leader that seems to give more action to some medium gliders. I prefer that kind of leader on my suicks too, just so the leader doesn't get hung up on the retrieve so much. Always flouro with Bucktails. I tie up 130 pound 18 inch leaders for the tails. I got a little lazy this spring and ordered a batch of great leaders from BNelson and they look great. And when they fail (flouro gets knicked), I'm re-using that hardware to tie up new flouro leaders.

Posts: 149 | Stealth makes great leaders! Bought a few Thorn Bros house leaders and the first one broke on me with the first fish on. They took care of me but since then I went back to Stealth and never had another issue. Good job John.
