Location: Money, PA | The thing I love about young minds is their randomness, un-international outcomes, and innocence. I brought my two boys to work today (11 y/o and 9 y/o) I had them go ahead and paint a couple of Hammers, which has become a yearly tradition now (2 yrs) They love it and are getting better. The random patterns and color selections they come up with always seem to give me some cool ideas and motivations. Here they are.....Enjoy! My 9 y/o did the top one and 11 y/o bottom one...
One of these days, I'm going to hire me a good photographer....these pics don't do the boys' lures justice at all.

Location: Money, PA | Thanks guys, I will post them when they are done...Cool story about the one my older son made last year.
We were at St Clair last spring...My son put his painted bait on first it was metallic green with a chartreuse lightning bolt down the sides. Well, we had a greenhorn on the trip with us last year who never fished out there....The rod went off and it was his turn. Low and behold, it was my sons bait that got slammed by a BIG fish...ripping line out like there was no tomorrow. The greenhorn, was so excited he was yanking on the line and horsing the fish like crazy and broke the line!! My son was so upset that he cried for the first half of the day about his lure....We called out on the radio about the lost bait...NO LUCK No fish.
