Location: Greenfield, WI | With this law in effect, those who have kids which are effected should make a point to carry their own life jacket with them. The jackets are very specific on the allowable weights of the users. Most kids grow like weeds, this would keep the correct size kid in the right size jacket. From the Coast Guard's perspective, wearing a jacket which is not the correct size is no different than not wearing a life jacket at all! |
