Wildcat is a great option.

There's a large number of smaller lakes in the region. On the way through check our Rollie and Helens, they will also be able to put you on the correct water.

Is wildcat good for fishing in the day? Alot of jet skis or skiers?
Are there any lakes in villas with action as good as 2-3 fish a day? Even if they are 26" snakes? Im sick of bustin my hump for 1 fish a week at 35" on my pressured lake.

Wildcat is probably what you are looking for, but there will be days there when they are not jumping in the boat, 2-3 fish a day is possible but not a guarantee. There won't be a lot of jet skiers or rec. activity.

Try taking a look at the DNR website and find the list of musky lakes by county. Some of the lakes that are designated as "Class A2" lakes will be your best bet for numbers.

Palmer is close by. That is a nice numbers lake.
High and Fishtrap are worth casts too.

2-3 fish per day is possible in a lot of lakes, first have to define what represents "a day" and how you approach the lake and fish it.

I've had 4-5 fish days on Wild Cat and even better on Palmer/Tenderfoot. Thing I found is that if the fish are active on lakes like Wild Cat, they're going to be active on Palmer, High, Fishtrap and Tenderfoot.

If it were me fishing for one solid day, I'd fish a small chain like Palmer or High. The lake systems are big enough that you'll see plenty of water, structure and you can try a variety of techniques over a bunch of different structure.

Wild Cat is easily fishable in a 1/2 day.
