Vary nice well balanced rods. I had Nick make me 4 rods. Service was never a problem for me. You can't beat the price for a custom rod.

Has anyone had any contact with Nick since he moved from PF?
There was a thread on LL about people having some difficulty contacting him of late.
He did build very nice rods at a very reasonable cost. Some were so pretty I'd have a hard time fishing them.

I have know Nick (via email and phone) for a few years now and have purchased several musky rods from him. Nothing but the best words to say about a guy who produces a great, high quality custom rod built to your specs. He also donates a custom rod every year (now 3+ years in a row) for our annual Mayfield Open for Cascade Musky Association (CMA) in Washington. Anyone who says anything negative about Nick has to either be lying or misunderstood something completely. I would recommend his rods to anyone and everyone. You just can't beat them if you want custom with a flare and great quality.
