Last night I watched as my first foil lure, while on the drying rack, fell to the floor. The epoxy had just set, however the blow disrupted the foil and of course the finish. Heartbreaking!!! Just had to laugh it off. Thanks for letting me vent!

one of the most frustrating things is dropping a half finished lure and having to start over. i feel your pain.

Believe me, I am not new to that problem either. Nothing pi##'s me off more than to do all that work and drop it on the finishing end. Sometimes I invent new words to cover the offense.

Could be worse. I had the coupling break on my lure turner one night. When I checked on it in the morning all 12 lures had fully cured epoxy-cicles hanging off of them. Whole batch ruined.

+ one to that. Nothing makes me more angry then to wreck one or a rack of lures on the last step. Mike

I have two gliders permanently affixed to my basement floor. They fell off of the rack while I let them turn all night. They're staying there. I'll let the next owners try to pick them up.

When I used to make my Grunts in the garage..... Loved coming out in the morning to put my next coat of epoxy on and walla, a fly here, mosquito there or the best was a monster moth half embedded in the epoxy. Not really as romantic as the petrified amber/mosquito scene on Jurassic park...just made me mad
