| Anyone have any experience with the motor guide wireless? I would like to get rid of my maxxum that i have because i dont like the cable driven motors because the foot controls are to high and make me feel like captain morgan trying to run my boat. Was just wondering how the motor guide wireless compares with the terrova and power drive. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I've been running one almost exclusively for the past few seasons. It's been a great motor for me with no problems. However, it doesn't compare to a Powerdrive or Terrova and the options those tm's can come with.
If your not use to features like autopilot or Ipilot, then the MotorGuide would be a good option IMO. I think you'll find the MotorGuide pedal will be more reliable, that I'm positive of! |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I've never had to change one, but its not hard to do. Just carry a spare and you won't have any issues. I really like the motor because of the pedal and how sleek in design it is. However, I'd probably favor the Terrova if I owned one. The Ipilot looks sweet.

Location: Hopefully on the water | I believe it is a CR3232. Pretty common battery. The nice feature about this trolling motor is that you canrun it from anywhere in the boat. I have used it a little but am a cable guy myself. Nice trolling motor though. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Zach, that's a great option but with many of the newer boats these days, the center rod locker goes all the way to the bow. Many of the deep v rigs this won't work, hence why bass boats put their rod lockers on the sides and not in the center. Great option if it woks, but not so great if you have a center rod locker. |

| that is a good option but i like to move mine around all the time. My dads boat has electric steering and thats what i have always been used to so the adjustmant back wont be bad |
