| i got there around 10:30 pm on wed eve and seen a note on the door that said, night bite call on the radio and we'll come get you. after 1/2 hr of fishing we headed back in. we headed to the resort bar were cady made me drink gingerale and got me drunk. we left the resort bar about 2 am and headed back to the cabin. this is were he poceeded to go into every cabin, wake them up and moon all who was in the area. we got back to cady's cabin about 3 am and to bed at 3:30 am. we were up ay 6:30, "not" ready to go fishing. i was so hung that my head pounded for half the day. when we finaly did go fishing me and papa-jo went to big lake. we seen a few fish and papa put a 26 inch eye and a couple small norts in the boat. we headed back to camp for lunch with the rest of the guys. my hat goes off to the cook. that was some awsome chow. for the eve bite i had papa-jo and mikie in my boat on big lake. the eve turned out to be alot better then the mornng. we seen 5 fish with 1 being a 50 inch class fish up twice and put a 40-42 in the boat.
i want to say thank you to cabin 15 for letting me spend the night on the couch, this saved me from having to drive home very tired. i wish i could have spent at least 1 more day on the water with the group because i had a great time with a bunch of guys that know how to have fun.
well thats my story and im sticking to it.

Thanks for the day out on Big. You can tell I was focused on muskies, when I casually toss back a 28inch 7 pound walleye without pics (I'll probably never catch a walleye like that one again!)
That 50-incher first showed as Duck was "fighting" a small bass. The muskie apparently wanted to keep it in the area, and damn near smacked the 14" or so largemouth right at boatside. I didn't get a good look from the back of the boat, except for seeing a big splash as he approached the boat with the bass. Mikey got an eyeful, said the head looked bigger than Steve Cady's.
Based on all the other sightings over on Big Lake, it probably was a 35pound pig, if not more.
If you've seen Bucher's Muskie Collection #1, it was similar to the scene where a muskie follows on a caught smallie. Except duck was using a Sqirko on normal muskie tackle, and we didn't end up boating the pig.
