oh thats a tough one there.. i like them both.. some of the dcg's move good ove shallow's better and the spanky's have thicker blades and tend to run better over open water. they get down lower.. and put a keel weight system on the spanky and they troll awsome

Musky Mayhem. They're the only company that has blades that allow the flashabou to "breathe". Other companies just have the flashabou dragging behind and not moving much.

Both have pros and cons, Spanky casts much better than MM, and doesn't bent so easily. MM has the nicer flash skirt, and their paint seems slightly more durable than Spankys.

And not to forget, Spanky's are lead free

I like the Spanky baits a little more myself during testing. Little heavier built. Both run well though.

spanky baits VS musky mayhem
opinion and other! :)

I'm somewhat of a spanky bait freak. I like the heavier contruction, the deep running possibilities in the heavy weight model, the lower prices and the fact that I can get them made to order with my color combinations. That being said, i lost a MONSTER on a double cowgirl off of Dead Indian last summer....

If you guys havent tried the made to order function for Spanky Baits, go to http://www.spankybaits.com and see what you can come up with.

How about the Moo Dadley by Dadson Blade baits. Awesome bucktail I think.
But between those too I'd go with the Spanky. Heavier so runs a little deeper which I prefer.
