Just put new batteries in my boat over the weekend. However, I'm having problems with my graph turing off when cranking up the motor. This was never a problem for me in the past. Could anyone shine some light on this subject if it has happened to you and what you did to remedy the problem. Thanks to all for your input.

I had the same problem with my HDS7. I was powering it off of available hot wire in the nose cone of my bow. I pulled a dedicated cable up to the bow for the HDS and it eliminated reboots due to low voltage. Suspect that my cranking battery is marginal and that is the cause for the low voltage dip.

Should have asked - did you have the problem before you installed the new batteries? Are the batteries the same size as the old?

The battery is the same or better than what I used to have. Maybe I bought a bad battery.

Put a good charge on the new battery, and see if it goes away. Otherwise, check your connections and make sure everything is tight. My 113 shuts off below 10 v after a couple seconds, would assume the HDS is similar. You should be running as direct to the unit as possible. Try not to run it off a circuit that serves a bunch of other stuff.

If the battery is good and connections are tight it might be your wiring. If the gauge of wire is too thin it can't handle the amount of juice needed to run these units. You see it more when running side scan and the head unit then just the unit, but worth checking out.

I never had the problem until this year. So I do not think the wiring is bad. It was all professionally installed before I bought the boat. I will have to giver everything a once over again. Thanks for the input.

Maybe try a voltage regulator...buddy of mine did this in his boat and he doesn't have this problem with his HDS any more.
