Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

I haven't used it BUT, if it can be bent easy enough to fit into that dispenser, then it is way too flexible. Not like the stainless lure wire.

A freind gave me some welding rods to try, it was the same guage as the lure wire, and stainless, but way too soft, I am guessing it is similar to the safety wire.

I made the mistake of buying some of that stuff a couple of years ago. It won't work, it is way to flexible.

I tried the 1/16" stainless tig wire and found it to be more "springy" and flexible than the .062 stainless lure making wire, which seems to be much stiffer.

I use this wire with each oil change on my Cherokee, it is designed for flexibility as a safety wire on Oil Filters etc on aircraft, easily bends and will wrap around itself with ease. I have never used it in a lure application. I would be happy to send you some if you want to try it.
