I wanted to pick up some more of these baits, just wanted to know your personal favorites. Seems like the ones I like are not in stock where I buy my stuff. Not looking at where you use them, just productive color patterns.

I have found that black is a great color when the water turns green. Walleye is always a great color up noth. Chartruse is always a great last light color. White or pearl is a good color for shad and clear lakes. Get some shallow versions for working over the weeds and edges, you will not be sorry. Another great bait in this category is a hardead by H20 tackle. You get some side to side and you can get weights to run them shallow, deep or anywhere in between.

I like walleye, and then something with a bright tail. Caught two on the same walleye pattern last week- a 40 and a 43.

Jon,

It sounds like you may have already ordered; but if not, I thought I would suggest considering Shack Attack's Curly Sues. You probably know what they look like, but just in case you don't....they're very similar to a bulldawg or SuperD, but they're made with much stronger plastic. After going through multiple bulldawgs every other week last year, we made the switch to Sues this year and haven't had to retire one yet. I have one with over 10 fish on it and it's still very fishable. Just thought I would suggest them as something to look into.

As far as colors, most of our highest producing colors have already been mentioned above...All Black, Gold/White (like Walleye), white, and Brown/Orange.
