| Hello, I am planning on taking a trip to Minnesota or Wisconsin in late August. I am also a beginning musky angler. Could somebody suggest a few lakes and where they're at that I may want to visit while I'm there. Thanks. |

| What areas of MN and WI......to narrow things down a bit. I am sure all of us will guide you in the right direction of a lake to fish in both states. |

| Anywhere, I'm going just for the muskies. I just need the names of a couple of lakes. I will be at mille lacs for walleye. This is just a kind of "pick up and go where ever" kinda thing. My destination is planned out by information on what lakes have the best reputations. |

| If your going up to Mille Lac anyway, stay there for the muskies!!!!!!! Just find weeds and start throwing bucktails and you'll see some action. |

| Cool... but i want to see more of that area there. lets put it this way, I want to travel both states. |

| Mille Lacs has some huge fish in it right now. Stay there, and just head to a bay. If you want a guide call up Mac's Twin Bay resort, or talk to the resort you are going to stay at, they should know some good Muskie Guides.

| Eddy's on Lake Mille Lacs has fine accomodations as well as some great guides working out of the resort.
If you want to come to Western WI, for a Guided trip give me a call @ 715.755.4632 Mike's Sure Catch Guide Service. If I am booked when you are coming I can arrange for another local guide to take you. We have some fine lakes here. Including, Deer, Bone, Cedar and the Apple & St. Croix rivers. Good Muskie fishing on all of them. Call and leave a message, I will get back to you, Mike |
