A friend and I have decided to try a guide this year. Can anyone recomend one that guides the Phillips, WI chain?

If you are interested fishing the chippewa flowage it's about 40min from phillips. You can get a hold of Pete at 815-762-3973.

Try John Ross at Ross's Sport shop right in town on the main drag(HWY 13). Good guy, good guide.

Give John a call @ 715-339-3625. He's been guiding the chain forever! Great multi species guide as well if you want to try for walleye or pan fish along the way.

I guide but never fished it but plan to this summer/ Let me know when you are going to be and maybe we can hook up for a day. Always fun to fish with someone new.
I live about 40 minutes max from it.

I throw another vote in for John Carlson. Got a chance to meet the rest of the family at the Blaine Muskie Expo, nice people. Going out for a day fishing with Don would be fun, he does know what he is doing. Just be careful if he ties your boat to the dock, Don remember the time on the 3 lakes chain when your boat was tied up overnight.

Oops, I meant John Carlson. He and I used to share alot of info. about the area when I fished there. Make sure to check out his supply of Musky lures as well. One of the best 'little big' shops in WI.
