| I would like to thank all the muskiefirst guys that made the outing, everyone of you was a pleasure to meet. This is the first chance I've had to play on the computer since you left. I have been going nuts trying to figure out these crazy fish during the weird weather pattern we had during the last 30 days.
The weather for the outing was BADDD...but all you guys stayed up beat and positive, that was great.
Hard to believe 28 guys backed into 7 rooms had such a great time while fishing and weather was so bad....
Seems like catching muskies was second to comrodery???is that spelled right. Don't have time to spell check.
Looking forward to next year and doing it again.
A big thanks to Jason, Steve, Steve and Zach.
Not a better site on the net, so many great people.
Thanks Guys By the way Scott are you still???or are you all cleared up,DON'T EAT Cory's experiments before an outing. Hope nobody post the photo of me and my Rat-L-Trap up in a tree 15 feet>>>>>>Would ruin my image of myself

| Thanks Tony...a truely great time was had by all! Now that we all know each other better, next year we can argue + cut each other off on the lake! [;)] [:sun:] |

| TO my defense the test meat was not mine but a buddy at work!! But it probably was the late night seafood buffet that did him in.......
Fortunately, no one had a camera when Scott and I witnessed Tony fire a rattle trap 15 feet straight up into a tree....very funny! Even the best sticks get muscle spasms that cause fluke casts, right Tony....I mean it WAS a spasm...no one in there right mind could fire a cast THAT high into a tree without a spasm!! []
Thanks for helping keep all the sheep going that weekend! See you next year!

| Tony,
Thanks for hosting this outing. I had a great time, even if the weather didn't cooperate. You have a great place down there, and were a most gracious host. Looking forward to next year. Hope you enjoy(ed) the sausage.
Tight Lines,

| Tony - "gracious host" does not even start to describe ya, thanks so much for a truly memorable time. As Sponger said about the weather even before we arrived "At least we'll all have each other". Hey, if anyone got a photo of me and Mauser in the Gambler I'd appreciate a copy. thanks again, m |

| Tony,
I had a great time even if I spent half of it praying to the porcelean (from both ends)..........
It was great meeting everyone and talking muskies.
Don't listen to Painter. As a Research Project Leader at Oscar Meyer, I consider it his experiment.
I had cramps in my legs just trying to make it through Chicago during rush hour on the way down there (LOL). I knew it was going to be a long weekend after that.......... Thanks to muddobber for the Immodium AD - he came to the rescue!
Tony - you can throw a trap into the trees like no otha motha. Don't let anyone else tell you differently.
For the record, I was in bed at Tony's lodge while Jason Smith and Cory Painter were out in my boat and successfully ran it out of gas. You would think Mr. Smith, having the same boat as mine, would be able to read the gas gauge correctly (LOL)! Better yet, wouldn't you have put gas in prior to even taking it out??? Knuckleheads..........
Have a great season!

| It has been my experience that a 'borrowed boat for a day' will come back with a fuel tank in need, just the way it is...no one looks at the fuel gauge, assuming that a conscientious owner would NEVER have a boat with little or no gasoline in it( especially since the tank holds 50 gallons)....was a hoot watching the tow job, though!
Tony, you did a heck of a job keeping everyone entertained, Saturday late night debate excluded (hahahaha) The road kill cafe feed was one of the best I have ever had.
Thanks again! |

| Been fishing at a lot of different places and I would have to say that I can't remember having a better time at ANY place, your 1st Class Tony, you made us all feel right at home.
I'll be back----you can count on it!!
