Does anyone know where on the internet a place to look at moon charts for 2007? Looking to plan my Canadian ADVENTURE for next summer, and it never hurts to plan around the moon phases.

Musky Hunter doesn't list anything for Canada. Here is a link to a website where you can create your own, all you need is gps coordinates to make a custom chart.

no they don't but the calendar is a good start just to know the phases, new moon/full moon etc......exact times on the water are easily obtainable by your handheld or fixed unit GPS.
You can use I'Falls and be within a few minutes of most Western Ontario bodies of water...

Hey Brad -- does your GPS give you moon overhead and underfoot times along with the major and minor solunar periods or just rise/set times?

Moon at foot or overhead can pretty much be figured out by splitting times of moon rise and set!!!

That's true JD. From there you can extrapolate your major and minor period based on the sunrise/sunset/sun directly overhead times, but I really like the tables where it's all mapped out -- you know you've got a major from 11:13am to 1:11pm, sun directly overhead at 12:10, moon directly overhead at 11:53, and the actual moon phase hppens at 12:05 pm

Then when you don't catch a fish right at noon you can blame the weather!

Seriously though, I've read a ton of stuff about solunar influence, and I am a believer. The only thing is that many times when everything "lines up" so to speak it's at 3:00 in the morning, or on a day when you can't be out...
